Hello parents! October 2 is a big day at PCHS. In the morning, we will have school pictures for all students in grades 9-12. We have paper order forms in the office that your child can pick-up or you can go to https://www.legacyschoolphotos.com/ and use access code POWELL25 to pre-order your child's pictures.
We also have Parent-Teachers Conferences from 5-8 pm. Please stop in the office to get your child's schedule and grades. As a bonus, you can stay and eat at our concessions and support our local Booster Club as well as cheer on our Lady Wardens as they take on Darby.
See you then!

Early Out on Friday!

As a part of Homecoming Week, Tuesday evening our Senior Athletes will be hosting “Signatures from our Star Seniors”. There will be face painting, tshirt signing and a photo station. All profits will be donated to the Ethan Bossert Foundation. This morning a few of our Senior Athletes went to the Elementary and tried out the tshirt signing on two of our students. #gowardens

Here's a line-up of all the great things happening next week for Homecoming!

Catch all games on nfhsnetwork.com! Thank you to all who helped us obtain WiFi and a camera for Ted Rule Field to be able to broadcast football games. Go Wardens & Deputy Wardens!!

Today, (9/9/2025) we had a threat of violence, (from within) at Powell County High School. We included law enforcement in the matter and we believe that matter has been resolved. We anticipate an increased law enforcement presence out of an abundance of caution.

The first Friday of each month is Long Lunch at PCHS! This Friday, September 5th, PCHS students get a 1-hour lunch.

You may have noticed our student section dresses up in a theme at all home games of every sport. Our High School Student Council comes up with these themes every year. We'd love to have all students K-12 participate if they are at our games cheering on our hometown Wardens! We will post the theme before every game. Here is this week's theme for our Lady Wardens who are playing this Thursday. Come on out and support our girls!
